Greg Wacks is a seasoned creative professional with over 20 years experience in various creative fields. He is a veteran of the tv production & development world, brand content across traditional & digital platforms, and a creative strategy executive well versed in social platforms and engagement.
Greg’s career began in the mid 90’s, working in production at MTV2 & MTV in New York, where he was responsible for hit shows like TRL and the classic MTV Beach House and Spring Break programming. He would go on to develop some of VH1’s biggest hits during the early 200’s but before leaving TV in 2010, Wacks was on the core team that developed a concept that would later become, Jersey Shore, MTV’s biggest hit to date.
After leaving TV, Greg would go on to a career in brand content partnerships, overseeing major programs for CPG giant, Mondelez in North America.
In the fall of 2014 he was hired as one of Snapchat’s first employees in NYC where he served as the US Head of Creative Strategy for over 2 years, helping their brand and agency partners bring stories to life through new and innovative ad products.
Since leaving Snapchat in 2017, Greg has continued to provide high level creative direction, strategy and storytelling to a variety of global clients across the messaging, social and retail verticals. He holds a degree in Creative Writing from Skidmore College and currently lives in New York City.
