WHO Co-creators from around the world & H&M
Flight tickets will be covered by The DO School and booked by The DO School directly. We do our best to get the most convenient and comfortable connection for you, but please bear with us as we have to balance convenience with affordability. Arrival date: Sunday, June 2. Departure date: Saturday, June 29. If you would like to arrive to Berlin earlier or depart later, we are happy to accommodate that, provided that flight tickets are not more expensive than standard dates or that you pay the difference.
You can go straight from the airport or train station to the apartments. Brad and Catia will be waiting for you there from 11am to give you the keys and help you settle in.
Catia will create a Whats App group with everyone to make sure everything goes smoothly on Sunday and that you can update us in case of delays, etc.
For those of you already in Berlin please make sure that you arrive at the accommodation at 3 pm at the latest. At 4 pm we’ll go for a walk around the neighborhood and at 5pm we’ll grab a bite to eat together.
Apologies to those of you arriving too late for that! We’ll make sure to give your keys to your flatmates.
You will be staying at rented apartments on Reinickendorfer Straße 89-90, 13347 Berlin. There are four apartments with room for up to 8 people. You might have to share a room. Apartments will be male or female only.
Accommodation will be available from June 2 – 29. If you plan to arrive earlier or stay longer, you will have to arrange for your own accommodation.
Do you know how to find your way to your Berlin home from the airport / to The DO School from your home / from the bus or train station? Please make sure you have all the relevant details you need with you. You can find the travel schedule here.
DURING THE PROGRAM
At The DO School we dress casual or smart-casual, so no need to bring your suit, just wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable! Usually, DO School program participants move around a lot during the course of a program as there are varying stages, and there can be quite a lot of standing, so we recommend comfortable footwear. German summers are famously unreliable: it can be 25 degrees one day, and 15 degrees and rain the next, so come prepared! Check out the Berlin forecast ahead of travelling.
We strongly encourage all participants who have a laptop to bring it with them. You will need to use a computer for your DO School work throughout the program. Both the accommodation and the DO School campus have access to wireless internet.
In general, days will start at 9 am and finish at 6 pm. There will be breaks for lunch and snacks. There might be minor changes to this and we will let you know in advance.
